TEDxHK exists because we believe ideas, innovation, and design thinking can spark the discussions that lead to real action. In Year 1 that belief found a true partner in Parinama Group.
Parinama, Sanskrit for “outcome” or “transformation”, is a climate tech investment platform focused on India, co-founded and led by Guneet Banga, a Hong Kong native drawing on the city’s long tradition of entrepreneurship and civic engagement. Where TEDxHK convenes people to reframe the problems of today, Parinama does the work of turning climate solutions into scaled, bankable reality by building ventures, advising global technology into India, and connecting capital, policy, and innovation ecosystems that too often operate in silos.
That shared instinct, invention paired with orchestration, ideas paired with follow-through, is exactly why this partnership made sense from the start. It was fitting, too, that one of the sparks for this collaboration came from our own community: impact investor voice Li Tan, whose TEDxHK talk on family-office capital and sustainable finance resonated deeply with Parinama’s own mission.
