Ideas that don’t just imagine the future but build it.

More than a decade after the last TEDxHong Kong event, I’m honored to step into the role of license holder for the city’s namesake TEDx event.

With more than 3,000 events a year and billions of online views, TEDx is one of the largest and most influential idea‑sharing networks in the world, my vision is to position Hong Kong, and Asia, as a global hub for innovative thinking. A place where science and design, tradition and technology, imagination and impact intersect. TEDxHong Kong elevates local ideas onto a global stage, creating moments of wonder that stay with the audience long after the talks end. We lead with ideas first: bold, curious, and ready to inspire something bigger.

While personal stories give ideas their human context, our focus will always be on the idea behind the story: the insight or perspective that can reframe thinking. Ideas spark conversations, shift perspectives, open minds, and connect us in ways that shape global change.

Hong Kong is a city defined by connection — between East and West, heritage and innovation, business and creativity. TEDxHong Kong thrives at this intersection, celebrating the ideas that reflect who we are and who we’re becoming: a city in constant motion, redesigning and reinventing itself.

Together with our TEDx sibling chapters in the city, we champion curiosity, spark dialogue, and showcase the diverse thinking that drives Hong Kong forward.

As a longtime Hong Kong Permanent Resident and active member of the global TEDx community, I bring over 15 years of organizing experience — including serving as the former license holder of TEDxTinHauWomen in Hong Kong SAR and as part of the TEDxShanghaiWomen organizing leadership team in Mainland China — to thoughtfully lead the next chapter of TEDxHong Kong.
